Responsibilities:
Please do not respond unless you meet the following qualifications Basic understanding of injection molding and/or assembly machines or similar process Good leadership ability, organizational skills and ability to effectively work with and direct employees on a daily basis to achieve the plants objectives and goals Responsible for overseeing daily operations and tasks in plant to make sure all profitability, quality, on-time delivery and efficiency goals are met Determine and write up production schedule as well as injection molding press schedule Inspect plant floor and equipment to ensure that everything is working properly and is being well maintained Oversee and approve all plant purchases in keeping with corporate purchasing requirements Responsible for inventory of raw material and finished goods.
Responsible for requisitioning raw material & parts used in production via the material buyer at the corporate office Handle employee related issues including hiring, firing, performance reviews and disciplinary action as necessary and in accordance with corporate policy in co-ordination with Human Resources Assist in handling and verifying plant payroll Assign tasks to employees as necessary and schedules employees Train employees and monitor employee productivity.
Run plant meetings Report to corporate office management as needed Devise strategies to make production more efficient Participate in plant strategic planning Assist in company goals The omission of additional general duties does not prevent the assignment of future additional job tasks if such tasks support the needs of the business and are reasonable for this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Able to read, speak, understand, and communicate in English High school/GED equivalent minimum Experience in injection molding or manufacturing environment Basic understanding of P&L statements and other financial reports General computer knowledge of Microsoft programs, such as Word, Excel and Outlook required
